forms is in hung state during the PA period close and taking huge time comparison as earlier

 Hi
The functional team try to PA period close and reported performance issue during month end close and taking near 100 minutes for single close but the last closing it has take 2-3 minutes only.

The oracle has suggested patch (16854134:R12.PJC.B)but you know we need some testing before apply in production.Can you please share is there any work around for this issue.
