Update of Scheduled/Request date when changing PO's Need By Date (promise date)

Hi

I understood that in R12 when changing the 'Need By Date' in an approved Purchase Order would also reflect on the Sales Order line and updating the 'Scheduled Ship Date" and/or "Request Date".

I cannot find any documentation or notes about this. I have tested this in R12, but I do not see this reflected.

Is there a profile option that I need to set in order to have this work?
