Alter number of Units after depreciation has run

Hi,
One of my users has made a Typo error while entering the number of units in Fixed Assets (11.5.10.2).

Instead of 21 he accidentely typed 210. We only found out after the depreciation has run.

The Units Field is an editable field. Can we change the number of Units? or will FA create journal entries and recognize gain and loss?

Or should I adjust the cost and set it to zero and fully retire the asset?

I hope someone can advise.
