Implementing eSupplier portal security, Vendor enrollment etc and best practices.
Hello, we are implementing eSupplier portal 9.1 and would like to see if you have any document that outlines the best practices/guidance in rolling out the Vendor security for access to view their information only.
We have over 13,000 Vendors (including Employees that are setup as Vendors in AP that don't have a TIN number) and challenges we are facing are:
(1) Userid the Vendor has to use to login to the portal. Not every vendor knows their Peoplesoft Vendor id so we cannot use either Vendor id or TIN for UserID to access the portal.
(2) Since we have lot of vendors we cannot implement a enrollment program which will take lot of our resources and time. This is not an option for us at this time.
