Need to add 'External' Type person in Sourcing Award Approval Group

Hi,

We have the following requirement:

We need to send award approval to an external member(not an employee). We have created him as External Type person in HR and created user name for him and attached the person and email in for his user.

But, when we tried to select this person in ame approval group, we couldn't find either in FND_User, HR Person types.

For Sourcing Award approval, it is not possible to add external type member inside the approval group?

if possible, then what is the issue?
