 This is on r12.1.3 

Is there any way in standard functionality of Oracle OM/Shipping where when ship confirmation on a delivery happens, it needs to generate a shipment advice and email it to customers' email address.

 

I know we can achieve this via Oracle Alerts. But I am looking for a more integrated solution.

 

For e.g. when we attach shipping document set to the delivery at the time of ship confirmation in Oracle, it prints those shipping documents. Instead, can we just email them to customers?

 

Or, is there any other way other than Alerts and chron jobs?
