Multi Select using custom control in Siebel Open UI Applet

HI,We have a requirement to select multiple records in a list applet using a custom check box in the list column. We have a example in config Open UI document to include a custom check box list column, but I need to know which event to be triggered when the user clicks on the check box on the list column. 

It would be helpful if you can share the idea for invoking the list row select from PR and PM files and also if we unchecked the select check box then the list column should be unselected.

we are using OPEN UI application and this configuration needs to be done in this.(In SI applications we have the select check box where multi select is possible but I need to implement in Open UI application)
