How to use 'Review by Date' field in the ASL

Hi,

What is the functionality of the 'Review by Date' field in the ASL? Does this generate an alert? or this is just for reporting purposes?

1. Supply Base> Approve Supplier List

2. Enter or query item

3. Enter the business purpose, supplier, site, ou, status, supplier item, manufacturer and REVIEW BY DATE
