Steps to create summary template buidget

We are in version 12.1.2

We want to implement summary template and summary budget. There is no clear information from both metalink and user guide on the steps involved in it. I will summarise the steps followed and please correct me if I'm missing anything here:

1. There are 6 segments in our Accounting Flexfield and we will implement summary budget @ department level. So we defined rollup group(DEPT) for department. In summary template it will be rollup group name in department, D in natural account and T in remaining segments like T-T-DEPT-T-D-T. Summary template created successfully with related code combinations in GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS. Budgetary control is also attached to it.
