Getting backup piece from tape and restoring it to a new server

 Hi,
We have this situation, Database A became corrupted, now it's shut down and couldn't be open. We have 3 good backups, (11-Sep : Level 0 incremental, 12-Sep: Level 1 inc, 13-Sep: level 1 inc) which was stored directly to tape via (TDPO).

My questions is:

Is it possible to copy the three backup pieces from tape to disk, then move the files (from dist) to another server and do the recovery there?

We want to test recover to a test server before we actually apply on the main server.
