Siebel OpenUI - eCustomer Standard Interactivity

We have recently upgraded to 8.1.1.9 and are using eCustomer.  In our DEV environment we have deployed eCustomer with OpenUI and for the most part we are noticing things are working fine, however we have Style issues with the screen tabs and formatting.  I have attached screenshots detailing what we are seeing in the normal application and what we see in OPEN UI.

In OpenUI, the borders around the applet are missing and also the screen tabs at the top are hard to read.  How do we go about changing these applets to HI, so that they are normal in Open UI?
