Balancing Segment Issue

Hi,

I have an issue where a journal entry posted without running through intercompany so the balancing segemnt does not balance.  I need to correct this by posting an aj where the balancing segment does not balance.  How do I post an entry where the balancing segment does not balance.  Not sure how it happened in the first place.   This is in 11i .  Thanks.

I uploaded a screen shot of AJ that posted without running through intercompany.  The third segment is the balancing segment ( Cost Center).  So Coat center does not balance because there is no interco offset in this aj.  Thanks again.
