The commission for a new revenue class based on custom transaction source is not showing in YTD Summ

 We created a new Plan element and revenue class using custom transaction source and did all synch, calculate steps. However, when ran YTD summary report for a sales rep the commission for the said plan element doesnt calculate and shows 0 commission. Please advise the best troubleshooting path.
