Month End Issues related to average costing

We are on 12.1.3 and have a new plant using average costing(all older ones use standard costing).We get a lot of month issues in manufacturing area in the std costing orgs and have scripts and fixes avaialble to resolve those but not very well prepared for issues in average costing that can prevent closing of inventory period.Is there any document that has these issues documented and scripts and fixes that we may need to apply if a problem in closing inventory in the avg costing org?
