Allow Non-Business Day Transactions

 Hi

We are upgrading from 11i to R12. Now client requirement is that user not allow to post the journals (GL Control Accounts) on specific days.

To achieve the above requirement through enable transaction calendar and change profile option value as well...

My question is that with out assign transaction calendar at the ledger level (we can't assign the transaction calendar at ASM level for existing ledger), can we stop posting on specific days using only profile option "Journals: Allow Non-Business Day Transactions".

Please suggest is there any workaround.
