Consolidations: Various Methods

Hi,

I need some help to compare and contrast various consolidation methods available in JDE, from best practices perspective. We have proposed indexed allocations to our client to handle consolidations. However, they have found it to be very time consuming to use and even complex to maintain, especially if they have to add a new account. Is there a reason why indexed allocation journals would be preferred to handle consolidations? Please advise. Cheers...
