Report Scheduling and Auto-sending

The current functionality of CRMOD analytics/reporting does not support scheduling a report to run and export/send to a specific file or email. But, we have business proceses that require this: essentially, we have to send a series of reports to an external constituent at the same time every week and doing this manually is cumbersome and time-consuming. Does anyone know:

1) if this is "coming soon" in an upcoming release?

2) if there are existing bolt-on applications or functionalities that can be used to do this?
