Excel column formatting

Hi,
I am using a RTF template for my report and the output is in Excel. Columns containing number are being formatted as "GENERAL". However I require them to be formatted as "NUMBER".

I have formatted the the fields in the RTF template as number.

I know this is possible by using a EXCEL template, but can this be achived with an RTF template ? If yes, How can it be done ?


I am using Oracle XML Publisher 5.6.3 on EBS 12.1.3.
