Unable to create Listener as part of 11.2.0.3 instllation.

Hello all,

Hoping you can give me some advice so that I can get a functional Listner so I can proceed with database installation.  Here are the basics.

This is an OEL 6.4 installation.  I was able to successfully install the Grid Infrastructure software.  I am able to successfully create ASM instance provided I skip the failed listener creation.

I am able to access the network and even download Oracle software via the Internet from the same system. 

Before I run netca here is the output of netstat -nat as the grid user

Active Internet connections (servers and established)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address               Foreign Address             State
