how to assign a item through item import process

 Hello Gurus,

we have a organization structure with one master organization and two child organizations

i had developed the item load process using open interface tables and by running the import items concurrent program successfully and able to insert records into MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_B

in testing i had executed the script for a single record and the record is successfully inserted in master organization

now if i want to assign the same item for the child organizations what should i want to perform next step

should i need to run the import items for the child organization separately or is there parameter setup which allows the import items program to assign the items to the child organizations ??
