how to boot the system as debug mode to check the system during boot ?

Hi,
Can somebody advise me how to boot the system as debug mode to checking the all hardware devices and services ?
It means that GRUB Menu and some parameters set on some menu list like as . milestone=none.... etc.
Then he/she rebooted the system. the system showed all booting sequence and events for detail booting message & hardware detection messages and service messages.

It looks like to be very helpful to find the problem during system booting.
That is all my memories when I got the back support via sharedshell with Oracle.
