Transaction Level Translation

We have a requirement for out China Subsidiary at transaction level they have to use Chinese Govt rate of say 6 Yuan to 1 dollar so they book the invoice and in their books that has Yuan as a functional currency they have a balance of 6 Yuan for that transactiion for that day.

Next day they make another transaction and for that let us say the Chine Gove rate is 6.5 Yuan to a dollar so now they have a balabce of 6 + 6.5 = 12.5 Yuan in their books.

Now the corporate rate from Yuan to Dollar rate is say 6.12 yuan to dollar so when they translate the Yuan ledger  to USD ledger  they get 2.04 USD.
