R12 Summary Templates Changing from Absolute to Advisory

In 11i changing summary templates from Absolute to Advisory was a simple process as all we had to do was select the Funds Check Level LOV from the Summary Accounts window and change to 'Advisory' from 'Absolute', or from 'Absolute' to 'Advisory'.  In R12 this functionality change were the Funds Check Level is no longer in the Summary Accounts window but on another window, the Budgetary Control Options window, which does not allow us to switch quickly between the two funds check levels.  In R12 we are forced to drop and rebuild or summary templates which is very time consuming.  Is this the only option?
