EBTax API

We are planning to import AR invoice lines into Oracle at a very summarized level using the procedure API for invoice import.  We would like to calculate VAT tax for these invoices prior to importing them and then simply import TAX lines along with the LINE charges.  I know that EBTax will calculate tax during the Autoinvoice process, but I believe our use of the procedural API and the high-level of summarization (which will eliminate a lot of tax-related detail) will not enable us to use this function.  Is there an EBTax API that can be called to calculate the
