Oracle VM Server for SPARC v3.1: vnet performance gain

From this blog:  https://blogs.oracle.com/raghuram/entry/ldoms_virtual_network_performance_greatly1 I can see that there are certain prerequisites to be met before I can get the vnet performance gain in LDOMs Manager v3.1. I cannot find anything anywhere about the patches mentioned for Solaris 10 except a patch for the control domain. Are the driver changes incorporated in a S10 kernel patch or is it sufficient to set extended-mapin-space=on in guest domains to get the advertised performance gain ?
