Creating new database link to primary

I have a primary-standbys(2) database system and am going to create a database link on the primary to communicate an external database for query operations.  With the standby_file_managment=auto in all databases now,  may I assume the redo transport will take care of replicating this link creation to other standbys?  Also, I intend to keep this standby_file_management=auto setting unchanged. When this system turns into production, any negatives or downsize you could think of?
