Auto Creation of Renewed Contract 90 days before the original contract ends

Hi,

I have a scenario with respect to renewal contracts.All the service contracts that the customers have are evergreen contracts. They renew automatically every year However we want the renewed contracts to be created 90 days before the start date of the renewed contract.

Example:

A contract created on 27-09-2012 with one year duration, so the renewed contract will be created on 27-09-2013 and will be in active status.

We want the renewed contract to be created 90 days before i.e on 27-07-2013 which will be in signed status and will be changed to active later.

As  per my knowledge, we can achieve this with the help of process and indipendent conditions concept.
