Loading Exemptions into EBTax via API for Canada

We are upgrading from R11i to R12 for US and Canada. We have lot of exemption rules setup in Vertex for Canada by Product Codes (Category ID in Vertex).  In 11i, we use the 4 digit product code to pass to Vertex for identifying exemption status.  Are there any Oracle APIs which can be used to load exemption rules into EBTax if we can extract them in a csv file from Vertex?

We have upgraded to Vertex Q Series 4.0

If there is anyone who has had to do the same (loading exemption rules into EBTax), could you please advise us on the process followed?  Any other options/suggestions would be much appreciated.  Our timeline is very limited since we came to know about issues with Canadian rates and EBTax with R12 upgrade and are trying to overcome this potential showstopper issue.
