Patch 5839356 : Rel 11i : ALR : Alert executable ALECDC fails to relink when patch is applied in 'Ho

Hi there
Because the Readme does not state that 'Hotpatch' mode is prohibited and because
the need to apply this patch is urgent, we are using adpatch in 'Hotpatch' mode to apply :

   Patch 5839356  ("Email body was getting truncated early for a message exceeding 64k")

However the ALECDC executable is failing to relink with this error :

  ld: 0711-851 SEVERE ERROR: Output file:
      /oraapps/oracle/prodappl/alr/11.5.0/bin/ALECDC
  The file is in use and cannot be overwritten.

How should we proceed, please?
