End Dated Task in Purchase Requition

Hello

We are on R12.

We have a project in which tasks are end dated on 31 Aug 2013 but they are still sppearing while tagging project againt Purchase Requition (PR) lines. Project is in approved state.

Please suggest why end dated task is appearing under that project.
