What does the program, "Validate Application Accounting Definition" (XLAABACR), do?

Hello,

I have two questions.

1.  What does the program, "Validate Application Accounting Definition" (XLAABACR), do?

2.  Can someone show me how I might search the Oracle's knowledgebase to get an anwser for the question in #1?  Essentially, how do I structure a search so I just get a simple answer to my question.  I don't want to spend a lot of time weeding through all the "hits".
