House Keeping of Purchasing Categories

Hello Gurus,

There is a need to add new purchasing categories and end date some of the obsolete purchasing categories.

We do not have any approved supplier lists . NO items are set up as of now.

We use punchout ,non catalog requisitions and catalog requisition.

Can you please let me know, if there will be any problems if we do this in our Live system ?

if we end date couple of purchasing categories, will there be any problems in the Live system. Say on the unapproved requisitions which are using those purchasing categories ?

or any other impact ?
