Contract Project Cost and Revenue

Hello

Version - 12.1.3

Is it necessary that in Contract Projects Cost and revenues should be same?

Under events line amount got automatically negated and description is Relieve Parts Cost from WIP and Charge Parts Cost to COGS. Hence for revenue generation it is not visible? In this case expenditures are coming from Inventory.
