Do inactive Payables Documents get converted as PPPs in R12?

We are on an upgrade project from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3 and we completed our first Test upgrade.

In 11i there were a large number of Payables Documents on various banks that are still active, however the bank accounts were closed many years back. All these Payables Documents got converted to R12 and are showing up in various places.

If we inactivate these old Payables Documents in 11i, will they still be converted to R12? We are hoping NOT.

Any input will be much appreciated.
