BIP (OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1): Limit on columns in SQL query in data model

Hello,

Is there a limit on how many columns one can have in the SQL query in the data model? One of our "Form" type reports has 200+ columns and althought the query works in Oracle Reports, in BIP, after creating the query, trying to View Data to generate sample file always errors out with a message like Failed to load xml.
