Error When extending a VO object :Constants not found in class oracle.apps.per.common.server.PerOAV

 Hello,
I am trying to extend a seeded VO object and this is the error I get. Any idea what this is pointing to?

Error(9,49): Constants not found  in class oracle.apps.per.common.server.PerOAViewObjectImpl in class oracle.apps.per.selfservice.appraisals.server.OverallRatingVOImpl in class xxxx.oracle.apps.per.selfservice.appraisals.server.TestOverallRatingVOExtImpl
