Not able to defualt the lot on the wip job based on the inventory rule

go to setup for wip

go to parameters

on the first tab

the default lot number select based on inventory rule

create in the inventory rule a picking rule for FIFO

assign the picking rule to organization and item

go to wip job

create a new job

go to tab other

I am expecting the the lot will defaulted

is ther any particular setup to default the lot on the wip job based on the inventory rule?
