Just a NIS netgroup make (old) warning?

In NIS Netgroups we have:

...
The domain element is optional and should only be used to identify machines or users in some other NIS domain.
...

and an example:
admins (altair, hauri), (sirius,juanita,sales)
admins (altair,-), (sirius,-), (-,hauri), (-,juanita,sales)
When I was trying my own netgroup on the labs:

machines (desktop-1,-) (solaris-10,-)
users (-,user1) (-,user2) (-,user3)

I've got the following warnings although the make was processed and the maps successfully obtained by clients:

root@server-1:/var/yp# make
syntax error in /etc/netgroup
--- users (-,user1) (-,user2) (-,user3)

Howdy, Stranger!
