How to monitor OMS communication back to the agents
I recently had the following situation:
All agents showed up and available in the OEM console. Jobs started to fail with 'agent unreachable', however all the agents are able to upload successfully to the OMS.
When you select manage cloud control/agents. All agents their were showing up and green, but if you selected agent, the agent home page had an error message indicating 'OMS can not communicate with the agent'.
Apparently our network team here decided to decommission my proxy server and since the proxy was attached to all my agents, communication failed.
So I need to add an event to the ruleset to detect an issue that OMS can't reach the agent. Can anyone tell me how to set that up?
