Equivalent tool to "Trace Analyzer" trcanlzr and "TKPROF"?

In the past I've used the "Trace Analyzer" and "TKPROF" utilities to put a trace file "*.trc" in a better format so that it would be easier to read.  I thought I would be able to use the "Trace Analyzer" and\or "TKPROF" tool to clean up the trace file that was captured to specifically catch a ORA-01801 error.  I was told that these two tools (trace analyzer and tkprof) are only meant for 10046 events.  Is there another tool that I can take advantage of to format a trace file, generated from a specific Oracle error like ORA-01801?
