Append Deliveries functionality

We are recently trying to use Append Deliveries functionality, but it has been observed that the deliveries created have missing sales order linkage in WSH_NEW_DELIVERIES table where the source_header_id column has null value. 

Any pointers as to where i am going wrong or missing something.
