VirtualBox guest shows 100% wait CPU and doesn't respond

I couldn't find community specific to VirtualBox that is why posting it in Oracle VM community.
I created a new VirtualBox VM with Linux 5.4 (32 bit) OS.

Host OS - windows 7

When I start working on Linux Guest, for an eg. I tried to start OUI using ./runInstaller , Guest OS becomes very slow and top shows close to 100% wait for CPU.

On host OS virtualbox.exe shows 6-10% of CPU utilization.

I tried restarting guest OS, but that did not help.

Please help.
