installation of EBS R12.2 on Linux x86-64 with database on RAC hangs

 I am trying to install EBS R12.2  on Linux X86-64.  I want my eBS database to be on RAC 11.2.0.3.  During  Pre-install check process, rapidwiz complains as follows
I am seeing this on linux rapidwiz preinstall check windows

Checks Completed
Database Pre-install checks
These checks might take a few minutes
All Mandatory prerequisites for Database install are met
RAC install validations
This Check might take a few minutes and depends on the number of nodes in RAC

I am seeing the  following message in the linux prompt

Exception in thread "Thread-328" java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1
