Extended Attributes

Hi, I have set up Item Categories and assigned them to category sets in Inventory.  I am trying to set up Extended Attributes in Install base for items by categoy.  However, when I query to the Category Name I get a message "

Is there a place in IB where I have to set up these Categories also?  Or have I missed a set up step in IB.  Thank you in advance for your help.
