XLA Third Party Balances Report - for non control account?

our user want some of non-control accounts to be appeared in the XLA Third Party balances report.or precisely i should said... our user want to change some of control accounts  to non-control accounts, but still want the third party balances report to contains these accounts' data.

from functional point of view, any alternatives/workaround that we can recommend, without doing development?
any real case studies on similar issues?
