Cannot end date Receipt method

All,

Im not able to end date the receipt as it throws error APP-AR-201995  to set up document sequential category.  As I was working to resolve the issue, I came across that we havent set up any sequential number for any of the receipt methods for receivable module. We have moved to R12 from 11.0.5 on January 2013. Whats important is that recently other receipt methods were end dated with out any issues unlike the current one.

Any suggestion?
