Do I need to cancel open approved requsition and open approved po for the last year ecumbrance

October 2013 is my new encumbrance period

I need to carry forward my encumbrances to the new year

I have many requisition approved and reserved without po

and I have many open po approved and reserved in august and September and no receiving and no invoice for them

Do I have to cancel them ?as per the period end process document that I need to cancel them
