How to store an Estimated Cost on an Engineering Item

Hello Gurus,

When the user create a new Engineering Item, they would like to enter an Estimated Cost for this new Item.

Which field (in the item attributes) could be used to store this estimated cost, market cost on the item?

Let me know your suggestion and even if there was a standard report that could use to calculate this value.
