Start and Stop commands

Recently, our license server has expired. We have uploaded the new license, and rebooted the server, but it doesn't appear that Essbase is starting.For Essbase 7.1.6 on Unix/Solaris, what are the command line arguments to start and stop Essbase?

Sorry for the newbie question. I am brand new. The person that supported this server/app for 10 years left the company.
