Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. BI Publisher (MOSC)

BI Publisher report Outputs only in XML data format on Apps 12.1.3

Hi,

I am having trouble with a custom BI Publisher report on Apps 12.1.3. No matter what I do, the Output format is always XML format.

It seems like the system is not picking up the template at all.

I want to stress out that I am using a copy of existing .rtf and .rdf files supplied already by Oracle in the product. (GL: Journals - Voucher)

I've duplicated the Program and the BI Publisher Template and Data Source, keeping same modified code and short prgram name for all of them to match.

(Program executable is a Oracle Reports based format with XML output.)
